Enema Monument

People create statues and monuments to commemorate various memorable events and great people. This is the first time in history (that I know of) when enema gets commemorated.

Enema - the menace of my Soviet childhood during a few hospital stays. It still remains a simple, but effective tool.

This monument was designed by Svetlana Avakova, a sculptor. At first she was hesitant to take on the project, but as she thought of different artistic solutions, she came up with this one. This monument is made of bronze and weighs around 350 kilograms. It was installed on the grounds of Mashuk Aqua-Term Medical Spa in town of Zheleznovodsk.
